Outsourcing to Cost US Carriers $1.4 Trillion
A new market research report from Californian analysts Insight Research has revealed that US wireless carriers will spend almost $1.4 trillion on outsourcing over the next five years, in an attempt to maximise profit potential. The report also mentions that the growing popularity of VoIP and the resulting lower margins had forced businesses to consider outsourcing.

XM Satellite Radio, a Washington-based satellite radio services provider, and ClientLogic, a Tennessee-based business process outsourcing services provider, have inked a CRM services contract expansion.
ClientLogic will continue to offer customer retention & CRM services, and technical support services to XM's subscribers in the U.S. and Canada. The contract expansion is likely to create more jobs in the company's facility in West Virginia.
