The Memorable Ads Database

The advertising industry is worth over a trillion dollars per annum. Just imagine the amount of time, money and resources that go into producing these commercials!

For most companies, marketing and advertising expenses are fast becoming the single largest contributors to their expenses. Is it any wonder that it is the dream of every advertiser to have every advertisement produce excellent returns on investment?

While the return on advertising depends on a number of critical factors, it is safe to say that the memorability of an ad is an important factor. Put simply, a memorable ad advertises itself thus increasing the RoA (return on advertising)!

As is quite obvious, the ultimate objective of the ad is sell the product - and not to sell the ad! - so memorability for the sake of memorability will not work. But other things being equal (boy, have they ever been J), a memorable advertisement would be every advertiser’s (and advertising company’s) dream.

This section presents links to WWW resources that contain resources on memorable advertisements. It is hoped that the advertisers and the advertising community finds these resources of at least some value in creating more memorable and enriching commercials.

If you know of a good web resource/link that could fit in this section, do let me know. I will quickly review and add it if found OK.
